Why Australian businesses delegate
Less juggling. More business.
Most owners spend hours a week on admin that someone else could do. A dedicated VA gives that time back, without the cost of a new hire.
Your VA works your business hours, whether that’s AWST in Perth, ACST in Adelaide or AEST on the east coast, daylight saving included.
Clear monthly plans in AUD, with no recruitment or placement fees and no long-term lock-in.
Hand over inbox, admin and follow-ups, and spend your day on clients, sales and strategy.
Admin, bookkeeping support, social media, design and customer service, matched to your industry.
Start part time, move to full time or a team plan as you grow, and scale back when you need to.
On Australian time, from Perth to Brisbane
Your VA isn’t based in Australia, but works your local hours. Here’s how that works in practice.
Philippines-based VAs work on UTC+8, the same as Perth, so a Perth office day is a normal Philippine working day.
A 9 am start on the east coast is 7 am in the Philippines (6 am when Sydney and Melbourne are on daylight saving), so your VA starts early and covers your whole day.
NSW, Victoria, the ACT, Tasmania and South Australia change their clocks; Queensland, WA and the NT don’t. Your VA’s shift follows your state automatically.
Your VA works remotely from the Philippines or India, not Australia. You get clear A$ pricing, a backup VA, QC review and an account manager.

A VA vs hiring locally in Australia
A local hire comes with super, payroll tax, insurance and leave to cover. A managed VA is one monthly price in Australian dollars. Here’s how the two compare.
| Local employee | 7VAS virtual assistant | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | Wages under the relevant award or agreement, plus 12% super | One plan price: A$999 for 80 hours (about A$12.49 an hour) or A$1,599 for 160 hours (about A$9.99 an hour) |
| Payroll tax and insurance | Payroll tax above your state’s threshold, plus workers’ compensation insurance | None |
| Leave | Four weeks’ annual leave and 10 days’ personal leave to cover | Backup VA included |
| Recruitment | Agency fees or your own time | None. We vet and match |
| Equipment and office | On top | None |
| Contract | Employment contract, notice period and Fair Work obligations | Monthly, with no lock-in |
Super shown is the 2026–27 superannuation guarantee rate (12%). Award wages, payroll tax thresholds and leave entitlements vary, so check your own costs with your accountant. 7VAS prices are in Australian dollars.

Questions from Australian businesses
Straight answers about hours, pricing and how it works. Anything else? Ask us on your discovery call.
Will my VA work Australian business hours?
Yes. Your VA works your business hours, in your time zone. Tell us your city and preferred shift on the discovery call, and we match you with a VA whose schedule covers it, including the daylight-saving changes in NSW, the ACT, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
Are your virtual assistants based in Australia?
No. Our VAs work remotely from our headquarters in Chennai, India, and our support centres in Cebu, Philippines and in Brazil and Chile. They work on your schedule and inside the tools you already use.
How much does a virtual assistant cost in Australia?
General virtual assistant plans are A$999 a month for part time (80 hours) and A$1,599 a month for full time (160 hours). A team plan for up to 4 users is A$5,999 a month. Plans are billed monthly with no lock-in contract. Other services, such as real estate or social media VAs, are priced on our Plans & Pricing page.
Which Australian cities do you support?
Businesses anywhere in Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and Darwin, and regional areas too. Everything is remote, so location only decides which hours your VA works.
What tasks can an Australian business hand over?
Most admin and support work that can be done online: inbox and calendar, bookkeeping support, customer service, social media, real estate admin, e-commerce, data entry, research and recruitment admin.
How do you keep my data secure?
Every VA is vetted and signs a confidentiality agreement before getting access to your accounts. We use role-based access and encrypted communication tools, and you can revoke access at any time.
How does a VA fit with the Australian Privacy Act?
Under Australian Privacy Principle 8 you stay accountable for personal information you share with an overseas provider, so we keep access tight. Every VA signs a confidentiality agreement before getting access, works inside your own systems with role-based access, and you can revoke access at any time. Keep highly sensitive details, such as tax file numbers, in-house unless your VA genuinely needs them.
Do I pay super for a virtual assistant?
No. You’re buying a managed service from 7VAS, not employing someone, so there’s no super, payroll tax or workers’ compensation on your side. Check with your accountant for your own situation.
Can my VA work Perth or Brisbane hours?
Yes. Queensland and Western Australia don’t use daylight saving, so your VA keeps the same hours all year, and Perth is on the same time as the Philippines.
How quickly can my VA start?
Usually within 48–72 hours of your discovery call.
What if my VA isn’t the right fit?
Tell your account manager and we’ll replace your VA free of charge, typically within 48 hours.
