Why Canadian businesses delegate
Less juggling. More business.
Most owners spend hours a week on admin that someone else could do. A dedicated VA gives that time back, without the cost of a new hire.
Your VA works your business hours in PT, MT, CT, ET & AT, and adjusts with daylight saving where it applies.
Simple monthly plans with no recruitment or placement fees and no long-term lock-in.
Hand over inbox, admin and follow-ups, and spend your day on clients, sales and strategy.
Admin, bookkeeping support, social media, design and customer service, matched to your industry.
Start part time, move to full time or a team plan as you grow, and scale back when you need to.
Across Canada’s time zones
Your VA isn’t based in Canada, but works your Canadian hours, in English or French. Here’s how that works in practice.
Your VA works your business hours on PT, MT, CT, ET or AT, including daylight-saving changes. If your team spans several zones, we agree a shift that covers it.
Ask for a bilingual English and French VA to serve customers in Québec and across Canada in both official languages.
Philippines-based VAs work your Canadian day as a night shift, a common schedule for Philippine remote staff, so you get full coverage of your hours.
Your VA works remotely, not in Canada. You get clear US$ pricing, a backup VA, QC review and an account manager.

A VA vs hiring locally in Canada
A local hire comes with CPP or QPP, EI, vacation pay and benefits on top of salary. A managed VA is one monthly price. Here’s how the two compare.
| Local employee | 7VAS virtual assistant | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | Salary plus employer CPP (5.95%, or QPP in Québec) and EI premiums | One plan price: US$699 for 80 hours (about US$8.74 an hour) or US$999 for 160 hours (about US$6.24 an hour) |
| Vacation and sick days | Vacation pay (at least 4% in most provinces) and leave to cover | Backup VA included |
| Insurance and benefits | Workers’ compensation, and often group benefits | None |
| Recruitment | Agency fees or your own time | None. We vet and match |
| Equipment and office | On top | None |
| Contract | Employment standards, notice and termination pay | Monthly, with no lock-in |
CPP shown is the 2026 employer rate outside Québec. Employer contributions, vacation pay and employment standards vary by province, so check your own costs with your accountant. 7VAS prices are in US dollars.

Questions from Canadian businesses
Straight answers about hours, pricing and how it works. Anything else? Ask us on your discovery call.
Will my VA work Canadian business hours?
Yes. Your VA works your business hours in your time zone, from Pacific to Atlantic, including daylight-saving changes. If your team spans several zones, tell us on the discovery call and we’ll agree a shift that covers it.
Are your virtual assistants based in Canada?
No. Our VAs work remotely from our headquarters in Chennai, India, and our support centres in Cebu, Philippines and in Brazil and Chile. They work on your schedule and inside the tools you already use.
How much does a virtual assistant cost?
General virtual assistant plans are US$699 a month for part time (80 hours) and US$999 a month for full time (160 hours). A team plan for up to 4 users is US$3,799 a month. Plans are billed monthly with no lock-in contract. Specialist services are priced on our Plans & Pricing page.
Which locations do you support?
Businesses anywhere in Canada. Everything is remote, so your location only decides which hours your VA works.
What tasks can I hand over?
Most admin and support work that can be done online: inbox and calendar, bookkeeping support, customer service, social media, real estate admin, e-commerce, data entry, research and recruitment admin.
How do you keep my data secure?
Every VA is vetted and signs a confidentiality agreement before getting access to your accounts. We use role-based access and encrypted communication tools, and you can revoke access at any time.
How do you handle PIPEDA and Québec’s Law 25?
You stay accountable for personal information you share with a service provider, so we keep access tight. Every VA signs a confidentiality agreement before getting access, works inside your own systems with role-based access, and you can revoke access at any time. If you’re in Québec, Law 25 asks you to assess a transfer outside the province before sharing personal information, so tell us about your requirements on the discovery call.
Do you offer French-speaking VAs?
Yes. Tell us on your discovery call and we’ll match you with a bilingual English and French VA, so you can serve customers in Québec and across Canada in both official languages.
Do I pay CPP or EI for a virtual assistant?
No. You’re buying a managed service from 7VAS, not employing someone, so there are no CPP, QPP or EI contributions on your side. Check with your accountant for your own situation.
How quickly can my VA start?
Usually within 48–72 hours of your discovery call.
What if my VA isn’t the right fit?
Tell your account manager and we’ll replace your VA free of charge, typically within 48 hours.
