Disclosure: This guide is published by 7 Virtual Assistant Services (7VAS), and we rank ourselves first. We know that’s a conflict of interest, so here is how we handled it: every competitor price comes from that company’s own pricing page, every rating comes from Clutch or Trustpilot on the same day, and for each company we say who it suits better than us. If one of them fits your needs better, choose it.
Quick answer: The best virtual assistant companies in 2027 are 7 Virtual Assistant Services (best managed VA with a backup assistant and quality checks included, from $699/month), Wing Assistant (lowest-priced full-time managed VA, $999 for 160 hours), Prialto (process-driven executive support for teams), Time Etc (a few hours a month with a US-based assistant) and BELAY (premium US-based executive assistants). For the lowest hourly price, MyTasker and Get Friday sell India-based hours from about $8 to $16 an hour.
A virtual assistant company costs anywhere from $6 to $65 per hour in 2027, depending on where the assistant lives, how many hours you buy and how much management comes with them. This guide compares 15 companies on the things that change your real cost and your experience: price per hour, what’s included, contract terms, location and reviews.
Key takeaways
- Price per hour ranges tenfold. Full-time offshore plans work out at about $6–$10 an hour (Wing, 7VAS, Stealth Agents, MyTasker). US- and Europe-based assistants cost $36–$65 an hour (Time Etc, Virtual Assist USA, Boldly).
- Backup cover is the biggest hidden difference. 7VAS, Wing Assistant, Prialto, Time Etc, Boldly, MyTasker and Stealth Agents include backup cover. Wishup includes it only on its Elite plan. MyOutDesk argues against it and offers replacement instead.
- Watch the fine print. Prialto has a 90-day minimum and a $250 setup fee. Athena’s best price needs a 12-month commitment. Stealth Agents charges an onboarding fee it doesn’t publish. Boldly adds 2.9% for card payments.
- Five of the 15 don’t make the hourly cost clear. BELAY doesn’t publish executive assistant prices, Virtual Latinos and MyOutDesk don’t state monthly hours, Wishup doesn’t say whether its “4 hours” and “8 hours” plans are per day, and Athena gives hours per week only.
- Reviews are thin for several big names. Boldly has one Trustpilot review, and MyOutDesk and Virtual Latinos have none, so check Clutch and ask for references.

How we chose and ranked these companies
We looked at the VA companies that small businesses in the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Australia most often compare, including the brands AI assistants such as ChatGPT name most often when asked for the best virtual assistant companies. Then we scored each one on six things that decide what you really pay and how the service feels:
- Price transparency and cost per hour. Does the company publish a price and the hours included? We divided one by the other.
- What’s included. A dedicated assistant, backup cover, quality checks, an account manager, replacement.
- Contract and fees. Minimum terms, setup or onboarding fees, card fees, notice periods and whether unused hours roll over.
- Location and time-zone fit. Where assistants are based and whether they work your hours.
- Reviews. Clutch and Trustpilot ratings and, just as important, how many reviews sit behind them.
- Speed to start. How long matching and onboarding take.
All prices, terms and ratings were checked on 31 October 2026 on each company’s own pricing and FAQ pages, and on Clutch and Trustpilot. Where a company doesn’t publish something, we say so rather than guessing.
Cost per hour compared
Monthly plans are hard to compare until you divide the price by the hours. Here are the published plans where both numbers are stated, from cheapest to most expensive per hour.
| Company and plan | Monthly price | Hours | Cost per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wing Full-Time | $999 | 160 | $6.24 |
| 7VAS Full Time Plan | $999 | 160 | $6.24 |
| MyTasker Full-Time | $1,200 | 160 (max) | $7.50 |
| Get Friday Plus 160 | $1,280 | 160 | $8.00 |
| 7VAS Part Time Plan | $699 | 80 | $8.74 |
| Wing Part-Time | $699 | 80 | $8.74 |
| MyTasker 100 hours | $900 | 100 | $9.00 |
| Stealth Agents Core Support | $1,600 | 160 | $10.00 |
| Get Friday Basic 10 | $130 | 10 | $13.00 |
| Stealth Agents Senior EA | $2,400 | 160 | $15.00 |
| MyTasker 10 hours | $160 | 10 | $16.00 |
| Athena (12-month) | $3,000 | ~173 | ~$17.31 |
| Prialto Full-Time | from $3,600 | 165+ | ~$21.82 |
| Prialto Fractional | $1,600 | 55+ | ~$29.09 |
| BELAY Operator Support (social media) | from $2,070 | 45–60 | $34.50–$46.00 |
| Time Etc 60 hours | $2,160 | 60 | $36.00 |
| 7VAS US-based Flex 40 | $1,480 | 40 | $37.00 |
| Time Etc 10 hours | $390 | 10 | $39.00 |
| Virtual Assist USA Premium | $2,379 | 60 | $39.65 |
| Virtual Assist USA Starter | $885 | 20 | $44.25 |
| Boldly | $2,600 | 40 | $65.00 |
Athena’s hours assume 40 hours a week (its stated schedule) × 52 weeks ÷ 12. Prialto’s page shows both $1,500 and $1,600 for one unit; we used $1,600.
What the table shows: if you need 80 or more hours a month, a managed offshore VA costs roughly a fifth of a US-based one. If you need fewer than 20 hours, the gap narrows, and a US-based service like Time Etc can make sense.

1. 7 Virtual Assistant Services (7VAS): best managed VA with backup and QC included
Best for: small businesses and founders who want one dedicated assistant, with cover when that assistant is off and someone checking the work.
Pricing:
- Part-Time: $699/month for 80 hours (4 hours a day, Monday–Friday), about $8.74/hour.
- Full-Time: $999/month for 160 hours (8 hours a day), about $6.24/hour. Can be shared by two users.
- US-based assistants: Flex plans of $1,480 (40 hours), $2,160 (60 hours) and $2,800 (80 hours).
- Local currencies: from £699 in the UK, AED 2,999 in the UAE and A$999 in Australia. See all 7VAS price plans.
What’s included: a dedicated, pre-vetted VA; a named account manager; a trained backup VA who covers holidays and sick days; a QC reviewer who checks work before it reaches you; free replacement within 48 hours if the fit isn’t right; no recruitment or placement fees.
Contract: month to month. Scale up or down with one week’s notice.
Where assistants are based: headquarters in Chennai, India, with Philippines-based VAs and centres in Brazil and Chile for bilingual English–Spanish support. US-based assistants are also available. VAs work your business hours in the US, UK, UAE, Singapore or Australia, including overnight shifts. Bilingual VAs speak Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Mandarin or Cantonese.
Speed: a matched VA is assigned and onboarded within 48–72 hours of your discovery call.
Reviews: Trustpilot 4.2 (7 reviews), G2 5.0 (6 reviews), Clutch 5.0 (1 review) and Google 5.0 (1 review), checked 31 October 2026. 200+ active clients across the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and Australia.
Pros
- Backup VA, QC review and account manager are in every plan, not an upgrade.
- Published prices in four currencies, with hours stated.
- India, Philippines and Latin America teams, so time-zone matching works for every market, not only the US.
Consider
- Our Clutch profile has only one review so far, so ask us for client references.
- Our US-based Flex plans start at 40 hours. If you only need 10–20 hours of US-based help, Time Etc’s smaller plans (from $390) are a better fit.

2. Wing Assistant: best for the lowest-priced full-time managed VA
Best for: budget-conscious small businesses that want a full-time generalist VA for the lowest monthly price.
Pricing: $699/month for 80 hours (Part-Time) or $999/month for 160 hours (Full-Time), so $8.74 and $6.24 an hour (Wing pricing). Its FAQ also mentions a $35/month fee for paying by card (bank transfers are exempt). The FAQ still refers to older plan names, so ask whether the fee applies.
What’s included: a dedicated VA, backup coverage, free replacement, a customer success manager, quality control and supervision, and Wing’s own workspace app. Wing says it holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Contract: “No long-term contract”, and Wing says assistants can be live within 48 hours.
Where assistants are based: Wing says its assistants are “based all over the world”.
Reviews: Clutch 4.7 (36 reviews), Trustpilot 4.0 (53 reviews). Founded in 2018; based in Berkeley, California.
Pros: among the lowest full-time prices on the market; fast start; large client base.
Consider: Wing says backup coverage is standard on every plan, so ask whether the backup is already trained on your account, how sick days and holidays are covered, and which country your assistant will work from.
3. Prialto: best for process-driven executive support for teams
Best for: sales teams and companies that want several executives supported in a structured, managed way.
Pricing: Fractional Dedicated Assistant at $1,600 per unit per month for 55+ hours (the same page also says pricing “starts at $1,500”), about $27–$29 an hour. Full-time from $3,600/month for 165+ hours (about $21.82 an hour). Custom enterprise plans from 550 hours (Prialto pricing).
What’s included: an engagement manager; fully trained primary and secondary backup assistants (the fractional plan starts at 80% backup coverage); a month-long training programme; no overage fees.
Contract: a 90-day minimum per unit and a $250 setup fee in the first month, waived on a one-year agreement.
Where assistants are based: Prialto runs service centres in Guatemala City, Manila and Nairobi, working 9am–6pm on US and UK time.
Reviews: Clutch 5.0 (45 reviews), Trustpilot 4.5 (26 reviews). Launched in 2009; based in Portland, Oregon.
Pros: mature, well-reviewed model; strong backup structure; good for teams.
Consider: the 90-day minimum and setup fee, and an hourly cost three to four times higher than full-time offshore plans.
4. Time Etc: best for a few hours a month with a US-based assistant
Best for: solopreneurs and small teams who want light help from a US-based assistant without a long commitment.
Pricing: $390/month for 10 hours ($39/hour), $760 for 20 hours, $1,480 for 40 hours and $2,160 for 60 hours ($36/hour). Bigger plans by consultation (Time Etc plans).
What’s included: a US-based assistant, holiday and sickness cover, a dedicated client happiness manager, billing to the second, and a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. Unused hours roll over to the next month.
Contract: renews monthly with no setup fee and no notice period.
Where assistants are based: “100% U.S. based.”
Reviews: Trustpilot 4.8 (282 reviews), the strongest review base in this list. Serving clients since 2007.
Pros: excellent reviews; real flexibility; cover for holidays.
Consider: at $36–$39 an hour it gets expensive above 40 hours a month.
5. BELAY: best for premium US-based executive assistants
Best for: US leaders, churches and nonprofits who want a premium US-based executive assistant on a fractional basis.
Pricing: BELAY still doesn’t publish executive assistant prices. Its FAQ says support “typically begins at 45 hours a month” at a flat monthly rate, and that BELAY “isn’t built to compete on rock-bottom price” (BELAY FAQ). Its social media page now shows packages from $2,070/month (45–60 hours) and $4,500/month (60–100 hours).
What’s included: a US-based assistant from a bench of 2,000+ vetted professionals, scoped by a client success consultant; most clients are matched in about a week.
Contract: month to month.
Where assistants are based: “Every Executive Assistant is U.S.-based.”
Reviews: Trustpilot 3.8 (66 reviews). Founded in 2010.
Pros: long-established; all US-based; month-to-month.
Consider: you need a sales call for an EA price, and published social media rates work out at $34.50–$46 an hour.
6. Wishup: best for India-based VAs on US hours
Best for: US small businesses that want a full-day India-based assistant working US hours, with AI and automation skills.
Pricing (monthly):
| Plan | “4 hours” | “8 hours” |
|---|---|---|
| Prime VA | $1,299 | $1,999 |
| Elite VA | $1,999 | $2,999 |
| US-based VA | $3,000 | $5,400 |
Wishup’s page doesn’t spell out whether “4 hours” and “8 hours” are per day, so we haven’t calculated an hourly rate (Wishup pricing). A dedicated bookkeeper costs $999–$1,799 and an AI and automation expert $2,999.
What’s included: a dedicated VA manager, free replacement, 60-minute onboarding and eight weeks of training. The backup VA and customer success manager are on the Elite plan only.
Contract: month to month, cancel anytime.
Where assistants are based: India (working a night shift for US hours), plus a US-based plan.
Reviews: Clutch 5.0 (56 reviews), Trustpilot 4.7 (110 reviews). Founded in 2015.
Pros: strong reviews; AI and automation training; fast onboarding.
Consider: about twice the price of similar India-based plans, and backup cover only at $1,999+.
7. MyOutDesk: best for one full-time hire with HR and payroll handled
Best for: real estate, healthcare and other small businesses that want a single full-time offshore team member, with recruiting, payroll and HR done for them.
Pricing: managed outsourcing from $1,988/month; specialised roles (with HIPAA and PCI-DSS readiness) from $2,500/month; enterprise recruitment on request (MyOutDesk pricing).
What’s included: recruiting, vetting, payroll, benefits, HR and a dedicated account manager in one monthly rate; free rematch if the fit isn’t right; a 90-day launch plan.
Contract: full-time only (8 hours a day, 5 days a week). Minimum term isn’t published. MyOutDesk argues openly against part-time hour blocks and “backup assistant included” models.
Where assistants are based: the Philippines, Latin America and Africa, with offices in Manila, Lima and Casablanca. Bilingual Spanish and French assistants are available.
Reviews: Clutch 5.0 (68 reviews); no Trustpilot reviews. Founded in 2008.
Pros: strong Clutch record; deep real estate experience; HR handled.
Consider: full-time only, and no backup assistant by design.
8. Boldly: best for senior, employee-model executive assistants
Best for: executives who want an experienced assistant employed in North America or Europe and are happy to pay premium rates.
Pricing: $65/hour on every published plan: $2,600 for 40 hours up to $6,500 for 100 hours. New York pricing is higher ($2,678 for 40 hours). Specialist tasks cost $79/hour, and card payments add 2.9% (Boldly pricing).
What’s included: a trained backup for holidays and sickness; staff with 10–15 years’ experience; you can meet your assistant before paying; a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Contract: no start-up fees; cancel anytime; minimum 40 hours a month per assistant.
Where assistants are based: your choice of North America or Europe. US staff are W-2 employees.
Reviews: Trustpilot 3.7 from a single review, so there’s little public review data. Founded in 2009; based in New York.
Pros: senior, employed staff; backup included; no setup fee.
Consider: the highest hourly price in this list.
9. Stealth Agents: best for a low-cost full-time Philippines EA
Best for: small businesses that want a full-time Philippines-based assistant with a manager and backup cover at a low monthly price.
Pricing: all plans are full-time (160 hours): Core Support $1,600/month ($10/hour), Senior Executive Assistant $2,400 ($15/hour), Operations or Project Manager $3,000 ($18.75/hour). There’s a one-time onboarding fee whose amount isn’t published (Stealth Agents pricing).
What’s included: backup coverage, a free replacement guarantee, a 30-day money-back guarantee and a dedicated campaign manager.
Contract: check the terms carefully. The pricing page requires a 3-month commitment, but also says “No contracts” and “cancel anytime with 30 days notice”. Start times are given as both 1–2 business days and 7–14 days.
Where assistants are based: the Philippines; the company is US-managed.
Reviews: Trustpilot 4.9 (87 reviews). Founded in 2017.
Pros: low full-time price; backup included; strong Trustpilot score.
Consider: get the commitment, onboarding fee and start date confirmed in writing.
10. Athena: best for a fully embedded full-time executive assistant
Best for: founders and executives who want one full-time EA deeply embedded in their work and can commit for 90 days or a year.
Pricing: $3,000/month with a 12-month commitment, or $3,600/month after a first 90-day commitment. Assistants work 40 hours a week, about $17–$21 an hour (Athena pricing).
What’s included: a partnership manager, a temporary EA while yours is on leave, re-matching if the fit isn’t right, Athena-provided devices and SOC 2 Type II security. Onboarding takes one to two weeks.
Where assistants are based: Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya and the Philippines; Athena is a US company.
Reviews: no Trustpilot or Clutch profile found. Founded in 2021.
Pros: strong executive focus; leave cover; managed devices and security.
Consider: the long commitment needed for the best price, and limited public reviews.
11. Virtual Latinos: best for a bilingual Latin American hire on US time
Best for: US businesses that want a bilingual English–Spanish or Portuguese assistant on their time zone, hired directly onto their team.
Pricing: ranges only, by experience: Starter $1.6K–$2.9K/month, Professional $1.7K–$3.4K, Advanced $2.1K–$4.4K. Hours aren’t stated (Virtual Latinos pricing).
What’s included: a shortlist of 3–4 candidates to choose from; replacement at no extra cost (“conditions apply”); no recruitment or setup fees. You train the assistant yourself.
Where assistants are based: “mostly from Latin America”, on US time zones.
Reviews: no rating on Clutch and no Trustpilot reviews. Founded in 2018.
Pros: same-time-zone bilingual talent; you choose from a shortlist.
Consider: no published hours or contract terms, and you handle training and management.
12. MyTasker: best for the cheapest hourly blocks
Best for: price-sensitive small businesses that want small blocks of hours or a very low-cost full-time assistant.
Pricing: $160 for 10 hours ($16/hour), $480 for 40 hours, $900 for 100 hours ($9/hour), or a full-time virtual employee for $1,200/month (up to 160 hours, $7.50/hour). Pay-as-you-go is $18/hour. Prices are also shown in AUD, GBP, CAD and SGD, and there’s a $1 trial (MyTasker plans).

Contract: monthly validity. Unused hours don’t roll over. Discounts of 5–15% for paying quarterly to yearly.
Where assistants are based: India (IST).
Reviews: Clutch 4.6 (10 reviews). Founded in 2012; based in Kolkata.
Pros: very low hourly prices; flexible blocks; local currencies.
Consider: unused hours expire after 30 days.
13. Get Friday: best for flexible credits for personal and business tasks
Best for: individuals and small businesses who want low-cost help with a mix of personal and business tasks.
Pricing: credit-based (4 credits = 1 assistant hour). From $130/month for 10 hours ($13/hour) to $1,280 for 160 hours ($8/hour). A one-time $70 trial covers 5 hours. Specialist work costs 8+ credits an hour and urgent weekend work 1.5× (Get Friday pricing).
Contract: 30 days’ notice for any change or cancellation. Rollover on Plus plans only, capped at 20% of monthly credits.
Where assistants are based: Bangalore, India. ISO 27001 certified. Get Friday has been running since 2005 and was featured in The 4-Hour Workweek.
Reviews: Trustpilot 2.8 from only 3 reviews.
Pros: low hourly price at volume; long track record.
Consider: the 30-day notice period and the credit system take some getting used to.
14. Virtual Assist USA: best for US-based help with no subscription
Best for: US businesses with irregular workloads that want US-based help without a monthly plan.
Pricing: prepaid packages of $885 for 20 hours ($44.25/hour), $1,678 for 40 hours and $2,379 for 60 hours ($39.65/hour), or pay-as-you-go at $47.25/hour. A 2% discount applies for bank payments (Virtual Assist USA pricing).

Where assistants are based: “100% US-based.”
Reviews: Clutch 4.7 (6 reviews). Founded in 2008.
Pros: no subscription; hours never expire; US-based.
Consider: one of the higher hourly rates in this list.
15. Fancy Hands: best for occasional small tasks
Best for: individuals who need a handful of errands done each month (calls, bookings, research) rather than a dedicated assistant.
Pricing (from its 12 October 2026 page): $35/month for 3 requests, $55 for 5, $125 for 15. Each request covers up to 20 minutes of work. Unused requests roll over while you’re a member (archived Fancy Hands page).
Where assistants are based: US.
Reviews: Trustpilot 3.7 (31 reviews, unclaimed profile).
Pros: cheap entry; no need to manage anyone.
Consider: it’s a task service, not a dedicated assistant who learns your business.
Freelance marketplaces: Upwork and OnlineJobs.ph
Best for: business owners who want full control and are ready to recruit, train and manage a freelancer themselves.
- Upwork: you pay the freelancer’s rate plus a client marketplace fee of up to 7.99% (reduced to 3% for qualifying US clients paying by bank account) and a one-time contract fee of $0.99–$14.99.
- OnlineJobs.ph: a Philippines job board. Pro costs $69/month and Premium $99/month (September 2026 prices). You pay the worker directly with no markup.
Consider: neither includes vetting beyond profiles, backup cover, quality checks or management. If your freelancer is ill or leaves, the work stops until you hire again.
Managed VA company vs freelancer vs in-house hire
Working with someone you don’t share an office with is now normal: Gallup finds that 54% of US employees with remote-capable jobs work hybrid. The bigger difference is what an in-house hire really costs. In US private industry, benefits make up 30% of total employee compensation (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, June 2026), and SHRM puts the average cost per hire for a non-executive role at $5,475, before the new assistant has done any work.
| Managed VA company | Freelancer (Upwork, OnlineJobs.ph) | In-house assistant | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical cost | $700–$3,000/month offshore; $1,500–$6,500 US-based | Freelancer’s rate + platform fees | US median $48,310/year salary for an administrative assistant, before benefits and taxes (BLS) |
| Recruiting and vetting | Done for you | You do it | You do it |
| Backup when they’re off | Often included (check) | None | Other staff cover |
| Quality checks | Some companies include them | None | Your manager |
| Time to start | 2 days to 2 weeks | Days to weeks | Weeks to months (US median time to fill: 39 days, SHRM) |
| Commitment | Usually monthly | Per contract | Employment contract |

Before you compare companies, list the work you want to hand over. Our guide to what virtual assistant services you can outsource is a good starting point, and the 7VAS FAQs answer common questions about how a managed VA works.

- Is the assistant dedicated to me or shared? A dedicated assistant learns your business. Pooled or request-based services don’t.
- What happens when my assistant is ill, on holiday or leaves? Ask whether a backup VA is included, an upgrade or not offered, and how fast a replacement starts.
- Who checks the quality of the work? Some companies review output before you see it. With others, you are the quality control.
- What is the real cost per hour? Divide the monthly price by the hours, then add setup, onboarding and card fees.
- What’s the minimum term and notice period? Look for 90-day or 12-month minimums and 30-day notice periods.
- Do unused hours roll over? Time Etc, Fancy Hands and Virtual Assist USA let you keep them; MyTasker doesn’t.
- Will they work my hours? Confirm the overlap with your time zone, especially in the UK, UAE, Singapore or Australia.
- How is my data protected? Ask about NDAs, password managers, role-based access and security certifications.
Red flags to watch for
- No published price and no hours. You can’t compare value until you get a written quote with hours included.
- Contradictory terms. If a page says both “no contracts” and “3-month commitment”, get the actual terms in writing.
- Unpublished fees. Onboarding, setup or card-processing fees can add hundreds of dollars.
- Ratings that don’t match. Several companies show older or higher ratings on their own sites than on Clutch or Trustpilot today. Check the review sites yourself.
- Very few reviews. One review of 5.0 tells you less than 280 reviews averaging 4.8.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best virtual assistant company in 2027?
It depends on what you need. 7 Virtual Assistant Services is the best fit if you want a dedicated VA with a backup assistant and quality checks included from $699/month. Wing Assistant has the lowest full-time price ($999 for 160 hours), Time Etc is best for a few hours with a US-based assistant, and BELAY suits leaders who want a premium US-based executive assistant.
How much does a virtual assistant company cost per hour?
Between about $6 and $65 an hour in October 2026. Full-time offshore plans cost $6–$10 an hour (Wing and 7VAS at $6.24, Stealth Agents at $10). US-based services cost $36–$47 an hour (Time Etc, Virtual Assist USA), and Boldly charges $65.
What is the cheapest virtual assistant company?
For full-time work, Wing Assistant and 7VAS both charge $999 for 160 hours ($6.24/hour). For small blocks of hours, Get Friday ($13/hour at 10 hours) and MyTasker ($16/hour at 10 hours) are the cheapest. Freelancers on Upwork or OnlineJobs.ph can cost less, but come with no management or backup.
Which virtual assistant companies have US-based assistants?
Time Etc, BELAY, Virtual Assist USA and Fancy Hands are US-based. Boldly offers North America or Europe. 7VAS (US-based virtual assistants) and Wishup also offer US-based plans alongside their offshore teams.
Which virtual assistant companies include a backup assistant?
7VAS, Wing Assistant, Prialto, Time Etc, Boldly, MyTasker and Stealth Agents include backup cover, and Athena provides a temporary EA during leave. Wishup includes a backup VA on its Elite plan only. MyOutDesk offers replacement rather than a standing backup.
Do virtual assistant companies require long contracts?
Most are month to month. The main exceptions are Prialto (90-day minimum per unit), Athena (12 months for its best price, or 90 days) and Stealth Agents (3-month commitment).
Is it better to hire a VA company or a freelancer?
A VA company costs more per hour but handles recruiting, vetting, training, backup cover and quality checks. A freelancer can be cheaper, but you do all of that yourself, and the work stops if they’re ill or leave.
How long does it take to get a virtual assistant from a VA company?
From 48 hours to two weeks. Wing says 48 hours, 7VAS 48–72 hours, BELAY about a week and Athena one to two weeks.
Are offshore virtual assistants from India or the Philippines a good choice?
For most admin, operations and back-office work, yes. India and the Philippines have large English-speaking workforces and lower costs. India’s working day also overlaps well with UK, Gulf and Singapore hours, and Philippines-based assistants share Singapore’s time zone. The Philippines ranks 28th in the world in the EF English Proficiency Index, with a score of 569 against a global average of 488.
